My my my telephone!

Nialaya

If you’ve never heard of this name, now the time has come to change this (and please do it quick!)!

This LA based company creates one of the prettiest collection of iPhone cases I’ve ever seen  (recently).

Think studs, gold/silver and our dearly beloved Stars and Stripes (I am a true America lover if you might have not noticed by now) and this is what you get:

But there’s just one problem, yep you’ve got it right: the price! Since they aren’t that “cheap” (think 200$) I would have such a hard time choosing just one out of all those pretty designs. So I would go ahead and visit the closest H&M near you (or any local tiny shop run by chinese people would do) and buy the cheap-ass version so you don’t feel bad when you go and buy a new one next week (at least that’s what I tend to do).

But since looking still is free, here we go!:

But hey, let’s not be sad, if you’re one of those (lucky) people that is able to spend 200$ on an iPhone case, please don’t forget to check out the Nialaya jewelry, it’s astonishing and most important the Biebs is also a fan!

Now let’s look at some other cases I love, first of all, of course, Marc Jacobs:

But H&M does a great job also, here are some of the covers I own:

The gold one however did mess up my network connection :s (has anyone else had the same experience?)

That’s all folks,

Elien

Let me show you!

Dear readers,

here I am again with a next blogpost. I know this is choosing the easy way, but I just really wanted to share these lovely pictures with you guys!

But first things first! I just wanted to tell you about my love for Marc. No, Marc, isn’t the name of my boyfriend, it’s the name of my favorite accessory designer. Unfortunately I cannot call myself a proud owner of one of his accessories, but (oh boy) would I love to be one!

I do already own one pair of his legendary Mouse flats (yes, that’s Mouse with a capital M).

Even though they are slightly to big for my feet, I just have to keep them. I was able to get them a few years ago at La Bottega Hasselt, definitely a store worth visiting if you are a shoe lover but they also sell online! I might not wear them that much but I enjoy looking at them just as much. I think every girl should own a pair of these mousies because they give every outfit just that little extra touch!

I still regret not buying anything during my visit to the Marc Jacobs store in New York a few years ago, I guess I was just to overwhelmed with all those pretty things I just couldn’t make a decision (lets be honest I just wanted to have them all!).

I did however get a next opportunity last week while I was shopping in Antwerp city (which you can read more about in my previous post), at least so I thought. While in search for the LV store I discovered a store (I just can’t remember the name) which had some pretty neon Marc Jacobs accessories eyeing at me from the window. However, once entered the store (which I normally would have never done, thank you winter sales for making these high-end stores suddenly a lot more accessible) I was a bit disappointed. It seemed like they put almost all the available accessories in the window! Too bad for me (my bank account jumping for joy at the same time) I left the store empty handed.

I guess I’ll save that none spent money on the next trip to the USA! Though I can make the Belgian Marc Jacobs fans amongst you guys happy already by this:

New Year, New loves

Hi there, since it has been since last year that I wrote something on this blog it’s about time for me to date you up on the new things in my life!

First of all: Happy New Year!

New year resolution: write more blogposts!

So now we’ve handled this sh*t let’s move on to the more important things in life! (Yes, I only have one new year’s resolution because I don’t believe in these things actually working, at least not for me)

The first week of the year I was lucky enough to have some days off, so guess what happened next! Indeed, I took my best friend onto the train to Antwerp City for a whole day of shopping galore! Since it was only the second day of the winter sales and the crowds where overwhelming (more clothing items on the floor of the store than on the hangers, a one hour waiting line at both the fitting rooms and the cash register! (or almost)), I didn’t really buy that much, but the thing(s) I did buy where absolutely worth it (and without any discount!).

Don’t you just love it! At least I do, I just keep looking at it all the time.

It’s called Emilie and it’s about the cheapest wallet I could find at the LV store (which had a decent size).

The next product I absolutely love is this Philosophy packet which I got as a Christmas gift for myself. After using their Raspberry sorbet shower gel for a few months I thought it was about time to ad a new fragrance to my collection. This box consists of a shower gel, body lotion and a lipgloss all in the same great scent called vanilla frost.

I purchased mine at the Ici Paris Xl store in Hasselt but you can also order it online.

Just do it, you’ll love it! (I promise)

Next thing is a product I had heard so much great things about I just had to get it! It’s the Yves Saint Laurent Glossy Stain(or Rouge pur couture vernis a levres) in number 18 called Rose Pastelle. I choose the lightest color of pink available because that’s what I like my lips to look like, though some might find it a bit too much Barbie-like 😉 (I don’t care, every little girl wants to be Barbie right?).

So far I like it a lot! It looks very fluid and weird when you put it on, but once dried it leaves a perfect color on your lips which will last you a long time (even when drinking)! It’s almost like the gloss kind of disappears and the color stains your lips to the very, very best.

Please forgive the bad pictures in the (almost) dark but I just got it today and I absolutely had to show you guys! Though I was clever enough to take a picture of me wearing it in the daylight.

This item can also be purchased online here.

Last but not least their is my latest nail-polish addiction called Leading Lady by (what else?) Essie!

Its the perfect Christmas nail-polish you can ever wish for. The color is just beyond pretty and! it even has some sparkles in it!

The only downside about this is that it is pretty hard to get off your nails! 😦
